Wood Crystal Series
As long as I remember, I’ve been fascinated by crystals. It’s easy to see why some people ascribe magical powers to crystals. Their simple beauty has a hold on us. Their regularity and orderliness seems to defy the law of entropy – that natural law that says disorder and randomness will ultimately prevail.
These pieces explore the projection of meaning on starkly inanimate objects and, in particular, the projection of relationships.
